Tentative Itinerary

As we get closer to 2027, the itinerary will be updated and become more firm. Lodging will be in top Egyptian hotels.

Day 1: Saturday, July 24, 2027 • Departure
Our journey begins as we board our international flight bound for Cairo, Egypt. Inflight meals

Day 2: Sunday, July 25, 2027 • Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo airport, we meet our Ed-Ventures on-ground rep. who will assist with visa and baggage's formalities. After, we transfer you to the hotel and check in. Tonight, we enjoy a welcome dinner at our hotel. D

Day 3: Monday, July 26, 2027 • Oasis of Bahariya
This morning, we wake up early and drive to Bahariya. Upon arrival, we check in to our hotel enjoy a delicious lunch. After we visit some of the ancient tombs of the Oasis governors in ancient times. Then drive through the Black Desert and see unique shapes of volcanic debris, with stop at the Crystal Mountain and end in the White desert. Upon arrival, we experience a night to remember with Stargazing in the White desert with its moon-like topography. While in the White desert, we enjoy a BBQ dinner, Bedouin Singing, music, and overnight camping. B/L/D

Day 4: Tuesday, July 27, 2027 • Cairo
After breakfast in the desert, we head back to Cairo and check in to our hotel and enjoy a delicious lunch. This afternoon, we have some time to enjoy the pool before we head back to the Pyramids to experience an amazing Sound & Light Show. See the Pyramids and Sphinx light up and take in the beautiful stars. B/L

Day 5: Wednesday, July 28, 2027 • Cairo
After breakfast, we head to the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx. While at the Pyramids, we learn how the 3 pyramids were built and how they have the same orientation of the Orion Belt of Stars. Later today, we visit the Grand Egyptian Museum with over 100 thousand unique artifacts as old as 4000 years B.C. While at the Museum, we receive a special pass to see the Full Golden Collection of the Boy King Tut-Ankh-Amon. This evening, we enjoy a lecture on astronomy by Dr. James Dire. B/L

Day 6: Thursday, July 29, 2027 • Cairo
After breakfast, we will visit the Kattamia Astronomical Observatory where we see the largest telescope in the Arab world. Walk around the observatory and learn more about astrology in Egypt. After, we visit the Museum of Civilization, the Citadel of Salah-Eddin and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali where we enjoy a panoramic view of Cairo and the Pyramids. B/L

Day 7: Friday, July 30, 2027 • Temples of Abu Simbel - Nile Cruise
After breakfast, we fly to Aswan. Upon arrival, we have the morning at leisure in the ancient frontier town or take an optional excursion where you take a connecting flight that transports you back in time to the mighty Temples of Abu Simbel- reclaimed from the floodwaters of the Aswan High Dam and totally reconstructed in the present location. After the excursion, we fly back to Aswan and transfer to our cruise ship, our home for the next three nights. You'll be warmly welcomed aboard for lunch and time to settle in. After lunch, we take a tour to Philae Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis and marvel at the temple's beautiful island location and learn about the legend of Isis & Osiris with lots of Love & Drama accounts. Day 8: Saturday, July 31, 2027 • Nile Cruise to Edfu
Today, we set sail for an unforgettable cruise on the legendary Nile River to Edfu. Today, we stop and tour the Temple of Kom Ombo dedicated to two Gods with its unique carvings of the Ancient Calendar and the Medical Instruments. Afterwards, we continue sailing to Edfu while enjoying lunch. Later today, we visit the Temple of Edfu on Horse carriages - Edfu temple is the bestpreserved temple from the ancient world, and dedicated to Horus the God of the Sky, represented as a Falcon. Then continue cruising to Luxor. Tonight, we enjoy a fantastic Egyptian Galabiya Night (dress party) with Egyptian food, music, dancing, and a whole lot of fun. B/L/D

Day 9: Sunday, August 1, 2027 • Nile Cruise - Valley of the Kings
Today, we begin our day with a visit to the UNESCO listed Valley of the Kings, the necropolis of Thebes and admire the tombs of ancient Egypt's rulers including a visit to King Tutaokhamun Tomb. Next, we head to the Temple of Hatshepsut, a colonnaded structure surrounded by cliffs and learn about the life of Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt's first female ruler. Then visit alabaster house to learn about making handmade Alabaster and Conclude the tour at the Colossi of Memnon: two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep III. B/L/D

Day 10: Monday, August 2, 2027 • Total Solar Eclipse- Luxor
This is the day we have been waiting for! This morning, we disembark the Nile cruise and head to the eclipse viewing location. First contact begins around 10:40 a.m local time with more than six munutes of totality starting at approximately 12:02 p.m. B/L

Day 11: Tuesday, August 3, 2027 • Luxor
Today we visit the magnificent Temples of Karnak, dating back over 3,000 years. Walk along the avenue of the Sphinxes and marvel at the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 massive sandstone columns. Then we continue to visit the Temple of Luxor with its colossal Statues and Obelisk. Then we drive to Denderah Temple of goddess Hathor, with its ancient Zodiac and Astronomical Scenes. B/L

Day 12: Tuesday, August 4, 2027 • Departure
After a wonderful experience in the land of the Pharaohs, you will check out of the hotel and fly to Cairo and Connect home. B, Inflight Meals
